World Vaping Day: Spread the news and win a prize!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped spread the news about World Vaping Day! The day is gaining pace and events, and that’s down to vapers like you who spread the word.

World Vaping Day

A few months ago another blogger, Sam Munro of E-Cig Users, and I discussed the idea of holding a National Vaping Day.

Sam developed the idea with other vapers, including Rolygate from e-cigarette-forum, Russell from CAM VIP and Chris Birks and others.

Now dozens of events are springing up around the world, with events being held in 6 different countries so far (see update below) – and it looks like the answer to my question of a couple of weeks ago, Is this the day Vapers shake the world?, is a resounding yes.

What’s happening

On 22nd March 2012 (and hopefully in future years) vapers are:

1. Celebrating the success of vaping.
2. Holding events to introduce smokers to vaping.

World Vaping Day is as it says – world wide – with events already being organised in several countries including Malaysia, the UK and Spain.

While one fantastic thing you could do is hold an event, if you’re not up for that there’s a very easy way to help World Vaping Day, which doesn’t even involve you leaving your computer.

Share it!

And ask other people to do the same thing.

Here are some of the ways you could share the event:

• post a link on facebook, twitter or google plus
• email a friend/friends – and ask them to pass the word on
• tell your friends at the pub (okay, you leave your computer, but on the plus side you have an excuse to pop down the pub and have a pint! Why not take a CAM VIP poster at the same time?)
• post the message on your favourite forum
• contact the media – local (especially if there is an event in your area) or National
• write about it on your blog or website, linking to the world vaping day website
• click on one of the buttons at the bottom of this post (if you’re logged onto google, a single click of the G+ button is all you need to do to share it!)

Prizes

I know you’d probably share the event anyway, but to make it more interesting we’d thought we’d throw in some prizes.

All you need to do is leave a comment below, on our facebook page, on twitter (tagging @thesmokersangel so we see it) or on our google plus page telling us how you shared the competiton.

We’ll randomly choose 2 people who’ll win their choice of a smoker’s halo standard kit of a smoker’s halo tank kit.

A further 5 people will receive a £20 voucher which can be spent on any of the products on ecigarettedirect.co.uk, including our upcoming super duper range of new e-liquid.
