The Aspire Finixx mod is a cross between a mod and a pod device, and will work with the Aspire Finixx pods as well as most tanks when used with the 510 adaptor.
The mod is powered by a single 18650 battery (not included), which means you can keep on using the device with a simple swap of the battery. The battery can be charged either in the device or by using an 18650 battery charger such as the Intellicharger I2. The device comes with an ergonomic liquid silicon grip which increases comfort by molding itself to the shape of your hand.
The Aspire Finixx is powered by an ASP chipset and comes with multiple output modes, making it suitable for vapers who like to customise the output of their device to suit their preferences. These modes include auto, variable wattage, bypass and temperature control.
Pushing out up to 80 watts of power and coming with two low resistance mesh coils, this device is a great choice for a Direct-Lung inhale and thick, dense clouds of vapour.
The mod comes with a large, vivid 0.96 inch TFT colour screen with adjustable colour and brightness which makes it easy to digest key information.
Who is it for?
The Aspire Finnix makes a great choice for vapers who are looking for a flexible device which is capable of working as either a mod or a pod system. The 80 watts of power and compatibility with low resistance coils means it is suitable for vapers who like a Direct-Lung inhale. The use of external batteries and the wattage range means it is best used by experienced vapers.
FAQS
What is bypass power?
Bypass power delivers the full power of the battery to the coil without being moderated by the chipset. This means power output will be higher when the battery is fully charged and lower as the battery level drops. See Advanced Vaping Modes: What do they actually mean? for more information.
What does temperature control mean?
In VW mode, the resistance of the coil can change as the coil heats up. In temperature control vaping, you set the resistance of your coil. The mod uses the resistance of the coil to detect any change in temperature. The mod will adjust or maintain power to keep consistency in resistance, and therefore temperature. This leads to a more consistent flavour profile and can also extend the life of the coil you are using.
What is Custom Power Settings (CPS) mode?
Custom Power Settings mode allows you to set the wattage and power curve of the device you are using. For example, you might choose to start a vape at 50 watts and then drop it to 40 watts. Once set, you can then save the setting so you can go back to it. See Custom Power Curves in Advanced Vaping Modes for more information.
Can I charge my Aspire Finixx overnight?
Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. It is also important to use an appropriate charger, such as the Veho Plug Adaptor. For more information see our battery safety infographic.

Why battery quality matters
Many customers report experiencing problems with vape devices when using low quality 18650 batteries. These include low power warnings. Please ensure you use reliable 18650 batteries, such as Molicel batteries, or purchase from a reputable supplier.
E-Cigarette Direct cannot guarantee optimum performance when devices are used with batteries purchased elsewhere.
The Right and Wrong Ways to Treat Batteries!
Battery Safety Information
Do:
- Ensure you use the correct charging equipment for your e-cig (see below).
- Charge batteries on a hard surface.
- Turn your battery off when not in use.
Don’t:
- Use damaged batteries.
- Leave charging batteries unattended.
- Allow contact between your batteries and water.
- Carry in a pocket with coins or keys. (The Kbag is a great way to carry batteries securely and safely).
- Expose your battery to sunlight, extreme heat or cold.
For more information see our E-Cig Battery Safety Infographic.
Recommended Charging Equipment
We recommend the Veho Plug Adaptor and the Nitecore Intelli charger (for external batteries). Both are high quality devices from a reputable manufacturer, have performed well in testing and have the right voltage output for e-cigs.
Extending Your E-Cig Battery Life
With regular usage, your e-cig battery will usually last for 3 months, although they can last longer. The following steps can help extend the life of your battery
1. Cleaning your battery terminal. The most effective way to do this is to use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol, but you can also clean it with a tissue or a cotton swab.
2. Keeping your battery charged. Keeping some charge in your battery can extend your battery life, especially if you go for some time without using it.
