FAQs
What is the difference between a 21700 and an 18650 mAh battery?
21700 batteries are larger than 18650 batteries, with a size of 21 x 70 mm, as opposed to 18 x 65 mm. They also have a larger battery capacity, which means they can go for longer between charges. The exact battery capacity depends on the brand and battery used.
Can I charge Molicel P42A 4200mAh 21700 batteries overnight?
Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. It is also important to use an appropriate charger, such as the Veho Plug Adaptor. For more information see our battery safety infographic.
What does battery mAh mean?
mAh means ‘milliamp hours’ and basically indicates how long the battery lasts. The larger the mAh of your battery, the longer it will last and the less you will need to recharge it.
What does ‘Amps’ mean in batteries?
Amps (displayed as ‘A’) affects the amount of power the battery is able to produce as Power (Watts) = Amps x Voltage.
Batteries with higher amp ratings will allow a vape device to produce more wattage.
Do note: Battery life is also dependent on the wattage you use the device at as well as amp rating. For example, a 1500mAh battery used at 30W will not last as long as a 1000mAh battery used at 12W.

For more information see our E-Cig Battery Safety Infographic.

We recommend the Veho Plug Adaptor and the Nitecore Intelli charger (for external batteries). Both are high quality devices from a reputable manufacturer, have performed well in testing and have the right voltage output for e-cigs.
Extending Your E-Cig Battery Life
With regular usage, your e-cig battery will usually last for 3 months, although they can last longer. The following steps can help extend the life of your battery
1. Cleaning your battery terminal. The most effective way to do this is to use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol, but you can also clean it with a tissue or a cotton swab.
2. Keeping your battery charged. Keeping some charge in your battery can extend your battery life, especially if you go for some time without using it.
