With the RPM160 Smok once again redefine the capabilities of a pod system. This groundbreaking pod-mod combines the ease of use of a pod system with the sheer power of a mod device.
The RPM160 has a huge wattage range, pushing out from 5 to 160 watts controlled by a simple-to-use up-down button. This makes it a versatile device, and when combined with the 0.15 Ω mesh coils it can produce some serious clouds. A zinc-alloy frame means the 160 gram device is strong but light to hold.
A smart battery system with adaptive power output ensures a constant power output while vaping, while the IQ-160 chipset ensures a flash fire speed of 0.001 seconds. The dual 18650 batteries (not included) can be charged externally, but if charging in the device balanced charging ensures the batteries are charged efficiently.
The RPM160 TFT user-interface provides data including voltage, wattage, resistance, puff count, puff length and more, while a plug at the top of the pod ensures you can fill the pod without needing to remove it from the device.
The RPM160 comes with low resistance 0.15 Ω nickel-chrome mesh coils, which utilise a honeycomb structure to maximise exposure to e-liquid.
Who is the Smok RPM160 for?
Massive power and low resistance coils means this device is a great option for Direct-Lung vapers and cloud chasers. It is suitable for experienced vapers only. It is suitable for experienced vapers only.
Coil Compatibility

FAQs
What does TFT mean?
TFT stands for thin-film transistor. A TFT screen is brighter and faster than a LED screen.
What does constant power output mean?
This means that the power output remains the same even as battery life reduces. This is in contrast to vape devices with bypass power which reduce power output as battery life reduces.
What does balanced charging mean?
Balanced charging ensures that the batteries are charged in parallel. Essentially, the charger treats them as a single unit and any difference in the charge unit is equalized.
What e-liquids should you use with the device?
The high power and low resistance coils means this device is best used with high VG e-liquids, such as those with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 or 80:20, and nicotine levels of 6mg or lower.

Why battery quality matters
Many customers report experiencing problems with vape devices when using low quality 18650 batteries. These include low power warnings. Please ensure you use reliable 18650 batteries, such as Extreme Vape, or purchase from a reputable supplier.
E-Cigarette Direct cannot guarantee optimum performance when devices are used with batteries purchased elsewhere.
Using Your Tank: Best Practice
Follow these simple steps to get the most out of your tank.
- When filling, always avoid getting e-liquid in the centre tube.
- Don’t hold down the button before inhaling.
- When attaching the coil, screw it in firmly but don’t over-tighten.
- Make sure you use the right power settings. If unsure, check the manual or start with a low power setting and work your way up till you get the right hit.

Extending Your E-Cig Battery Life
With regular usage, your e-cig battery will usually last for 3 months, although they can last longer. The following steps can help extend the life of your battery
1. Cleaning your battery terminal. The most effective way to do this is to use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol, but you can also clean it with a tissue or a cotton swab.
2. Keeping your battery charged. Keeping some charge in your battery can extend your battery life, especially if you go for some time without using it.

How To Maximise the Life Of Your Coils
Always allow your e-liquid to soak into your coil for at least five minutes before using it. This will help prevent your coil from burning out.
When you have a more powerful coil, or one with more wicking material, it’s also a good idea to prime it by applying a few drops of e-liquid into the coil holes before filling.
Once you’re using the device, it is important to keep your tank topped up. If the e-liquid gets too low and the coil is exposed, the coil can burn out.
