  • 0.3 product Lee T 2014-08-17" 1.0 5.0 4 I found the Aspire coils were not lasting me more than a few days Smokers Angel were excellent, sending me out replacements. However, I got to thinking, if the inside of the battery thread can become gunged up with sticky e-liquid residue and lead to poor vaping until cleaned, maybe the same happened to the coil. I saved up three coils which had all become unusable after a few days. I washed them under the hot tap, and then boiled half an inch of water in a saucepan. I put the coils in the pan, and left them to simmer gently for between 5-10 minutes. I removed the saucepan and filled it with cold water to cool down the coils. I removed them from the pan, shook out the excess water, and then dried them off with a cloth. I then left them to dry thoroughly for 24 hours. I am pleased to report that these 3 coils are all now working as well as they did on day one. I don't know how long they will last, or how many times the process can be repeated, but every day is a bonus.

I had also ordered a pack of 5 x 1.8 ohm heads to go with it. These heads seem terribly prone to flooding, 3 of the 5 just gurgled and flooded straight out of the box, and the other 2 were doing the same within a few hours of use. Clean everything up but within a a couple of vape's they were gurgling again. I switched to the 1.8 ohm head just to experiment really, seeing what the difference taste wise would be. I have now stuck with the 2.1's, they seem much more reliable with regards to flooding. Working great with my fav juice - the American Red. The only thing i noticed different between the heads, the 2.1's came in blister packs that had the Aspire name on the silver foil backing. The troublesome 1.8 ohm however came in a plain blister pack. Other than that they looked the same. But when these heads are working right, their fanta
