Kurt Cobain to be Smoked

Kurt Cobain’s ashes are to be smoked in a joint in a music concert. At least, these are the claims of one crazy German artist.

Natascha Stellmach claims to have to acquired the ashes of Kurt Cobain, which, accordingly to the highly reliable News of the World, were reported to have been stolen from Courtney Love last year. She plans to smoke the singer as part of “Set Me Free,” a five part piece which examines issues of death, suicicde and desecration. The ashes of the singer will be mixed with hash and held in an antique cigarette holder as part of the final act “Gone.”

She has yet to reveal how she the ashes came into her hands.

“That’s confidential and kind of magic,” she told Art World. “[The ashes] came to me.”

The location for this joint will be a secret location to which the joint will be taken after the end of the show.

“I am setting him free,” she was quoted in Uncut magazine: apparently the act will release the actor into the ether, setting him free from the media circus he now exists in. I guess it’s fortunate for him that caring people like Natascha Stellmach are so anxious to avoid drawing media attention to Kurt Cobain.
