The anti e-cigarette movement continues to use lies and ignorance in its fight against the devices which could transform the lives of millions – and strip billions from the income of America’s corporation and governments.
They found e-cigarettes contain proprelyne glycol which is basically the chemical used to make the smoke in this product,” said Albert J. Ferrara of the New Jersey Health Department. “We don’t know how serious that could be, but, again, it is an ingredient used in antifreeze in our cars and that doesn’t sound healthy to any of us.
As we have pointed out before, and as was pointed out on the thread discussing the issue, water is also used in anti-freeze.
Just because an ingredient is used to make something lethal does not make it lethal.
Flour can be used to make bombs – but that doesn’t mean that bread should be banned.
It has even been tested in children’s wards.
The comparison of electronic cigarettes with anti-freeze is a clear demonstration of either ignorance from a public health official or a blatant attempt to spread fear amongst consumers whose only other choice is to smoke the tobacco which puts money in the hands of the rich and powerful.

What everyone seems to fail adding in on the whole thing about danger in e-cigs is that "regular analog cigarettes" also contain Propylene glycol. Oh and don't forget that they are all worried about the e-cig coming from China—well most of the flu shots come from China also!! Is the FDA ignorant or what??
