The Electronic Cigarette and Weed?
Can the ECigarette be used for weed?
Strangely enough, that search brings a lot of people to our blog, and as we haven’t answered the question yet perhaps we should.
(The blog post that currently pops up is this one, which shows American soldiers smoking weed from a gun in the Vietnam war!)
Currently you can’t buy an electronic cigarette and just insert marijuana into it to smoke.
The electronic cigarette works by vaporizing nicotine which has been soacked in a propylene glycol solution.
Theoretically it should be possible to do the same with cannabis, or perhaps with THC – however, this would be completely illegal, apart from perhaps in Holland.
There may be well be some clever weed smokers who have managed to do this on an individual basis, although we haven’t heard of it being done yet!
As the marijuana does have some medical uses, it would be nice to see this done, even if it was available only on a prescription basis.

That’s easy, just drip a few drops of hash oil into a nicotine cartridge!
Well, that’s my hypothesis, at least! I haven’t tried it yet, but I will soon, and when I try it I’ll be sure to post it on my blog and let everyone know how it works! Here’s the address:

can’t you just make a propylen glicol solution of marijuana (like mixing and filtering) then put it into the cartridge? is that possible to the user to open the cartridge? if it is, it could be used not only for canabis but for salvia and other stuff too =)
Some people already fill up their catridges with e-juice, so presumably yes!
The vaporization temperature of Nicotine is much lower than that of THC, so the short answer would be no, it wouldn’t work. The long answer would depend on if you could find a higher voltage battery that would still fit in the compartment, and if the heating element could handle the extra heat.
