The Smok Novo 4 is a sleek, easy-to-use 25W pod device for fuss-free, flavourful vaping. Available in 10 eye-catching colours with a sleek, minimalist design and carbon fibre body, the Novo 4 retains many of the features that made previous Novo Series devices so popular. This version also brings new and improved technology to make vaping even easier.

The Novo 4 uses Smok's LP1 coil range. Designed with new leakproof technology, LP1 coils feature 3 silicone rings to prevent e-liquid spills and eliminate wastage, with a silicone ring at the base of the coil plugging the gap in the Novo 4 pod to stop any e-liquid from escaping.

This, coupled with the simple press-to-fit, installation design, makes coil changes quick, easy and mess free. The LP1 coils utilise mesh material with a large surface area to get the most out of your e-liquid and provide a flavour-filled, Mouth-to-Lung vape.

The newly added inclusion of an airflow wheel on the device allows you to control the airflow more easily than ever before. Simply rotate the wheel to adjust the airflow between an airier or tighter Mouth-to-Lung vape to suit your preference. Adjusting the airflow will also allow you to create a more or less flavourful vape by concentrating the flavour of your e-liquid.

The Novo 4's single button operation makes it super simple to use and adds to the device's minimalist design (see more about button control in FAQs below). All of your vaping data (battery life, wattage coil resistance) is shown on the embedded OLED screen - allowing you to keep track of and control your vaping.

An 800mAh battery provides most users with a day of life. Should the battery run out of charge, the USB-C fast charging design means the device can go from 0 - 100% charge in 90 minutes.


This Smok Novo 4 kit is recommended for use with VG:PG 50:50 e-liquids & nicotine salts.

The Novo 4 is compatible with Smok LP1 coils.

Who is the Smok Novo 4 for?

What e-liquid can you use in the Smok Novo 4?

When used with the 0.8ohm mesh coil, the Novo 4 is best used with e-liquids and nicotine salts with a VG:PG ratio of 50:50.

How do you turn the Smok Novo 4 on or off?

Click the power button 5 times.

How do you adjust the power?

Click the power button 2/3 times. Then click the power button again to cycle through the power settings. Each click increases the wattage by 0.5 watts.

How long does the coil last?

Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.

You can extend coil life by:

  • Priming the coil before usage
  • Using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
  • Not going above the recommended wattage
  • Topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out

With care, the LP1 0.8 ohm mesh coil should last several days before needing to be replaced.

Can you wash a Novo 4 pod?

Yes. Remove the pod from the device, and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the pod out with warm (not boiling) water. Ensure that the pod is fully dry before using again.

You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.

Product Care

Follow these simple steps to get the most out of your vape kit.

  • For refillable devices, allow e-liquid to soak into the coil for at least five minutes before using the device.
  • Always keep some e‑liquid in the pod or tank to ensure the coil is saturated.
  • If using replaceable coils, push/screw them in firmly but don't over tighten.
  • For adjustable power devices, use recommended power settings for the coil or pod you are using (see box, coil or manual).
  • When device is switched on, only press fire button when inhaling. This prevents condensation build up in the pod or tank.
  • If using a refillable kit, use the correct e-liquid for the coil or pod you are using. See the product description for each kit for recommended e-liquid types
  • Avoid filling refillable pods or tanks above the fill line or to the very top.

Battery advice


  • Use the correct charging equipment for your device (see below). Use of third-party chargers may void your warranty. 
  • Charge batteries on a flat, hard surface.
  • if device comes with an on/off switch, turn off when not in use.
  • Keep battery terminals clean. A quick swab with a cotton bud can improve performance and reliability.
  • Always keep some charge in your battery.


  • Use damaged batteries.
  • Leave charging batteries unattended.
  • Allow contact between your batteries and water.
  • Carry batteries in a pocket/bag with coins or keys.
  • Expose batteries to sunlight, extreme heat or cold.
  • Allow batteries to go to zero charge.

Charging Equipment

Your charger comes with a 12 month warranty.


All mods and batteries are under warranty for three months.

Clearomiser / Tanks

All clearomisers (tanks) with the exception of CE5 clearomisers are under warranty for six months. CE5 clearomisers (tanks) are under warranty for one month.

Please note - these warranties do not apply to the coil within a clearomiser or tank which is a consumable product as below.


Coils are a consumable product, and as such, will be replaced only if faulty on arrival. Please let us know within 5 days of receipt if your new coil does not work.

What does your warranty mean?

We guarantee that your device is, and will remain, free from defects for the period of the warranty. Please note - this applies to faulty products, and not accidental damage (e.g. dropping on a hard floor!)

How do I get a replacement?

In the unlikely event you have a problem with your device, just contact our friendly customer service team on [email protected].

You’ll need to return the item (we can cover a free delivery charge). If we are unable to diagnose and solve your issue, we’ll send you a replacement by Royal Mail First Class. It helps if you have your order number, but if not our team should be able to find your order using your email address.
