The Vaporesso Luxe 80S is a sleek 80W pod mod that boasts all the features of the original Luxe 80 - now with an external battery design.

Kit includes GTX POD 26.

  • Description

    The Luxe 80S pod mod can output up to 80W and is powered by a single 18650 battery. This convenient external battery design means that when one battery dies, you can simply swap it out for a spare, recharged one with no interruption to your vaping. However, if you decide to recharge your battery, the Luxe 80S’s USB-C charging design means the device is recharged quickly and ready to use again.

    An integrated Axon chip within the mod offers the choice of 3 vaping modes - Variable Wattage (VW), Variable Voltage (VV) and Smart Mode. Smart Mode makes the Luxe 80S easier to use and prevents user error by automatically selecting the best resistance for the coil being used.

    A 0.96” TFT screen on the device body displays important data including battery life, wattage and coil resistance. The colour screen comes with a choice of 3 themes and colour options so you can select your favourite.

    The Vaporesso Luxe 80S mod is paired with the GTX POD 26 and GTX coils for a device that can support both MTL and DL vaping styles. (See more about these vaping styles in the FAQs below.) The Luxe 80S’ adjustable airflow also gives you the chance to tailor the air intake for a looser or more restricted vape, as well as a more intense flavour or nicotine hit.

    The Luxe 80S kit includes a 2ml GTX POD 26 which features a convenient top-filling design, SSS leakproof technology, push-fit coil installation and an easy-to-remove magnetic connection. (See more about SSS technology in the FAQs).

    The Luxe 80S can be used with both high VG & VG:PG 50:50 e-liquids and works with triple silicone Vaporesso GTX coils.

    WHO IS THE VAPORESSO LUXE 80S FOR?

    The Luxe 80S is a great choice for intermediate to advanced vapers looking for a compact & portable device with a removable battery that can be easily replaced for non-interrupted vaping.

    Less experienced users can use the Smart Mode option while more advanced users can use VW mode to tailor the device more specifically to their preferences.

    What e-liquid can you use with the Vaporesso Luxe 80S kit?

    When used with the included GTX coils, the Luxe 80S can be used with high VG e-liquids with a ratio of around VG:PG 70:30.

    It can also be used with VG:PG 50:50 e-liquids and nicotine salts when used with higher resistance GTX coils (sold separately).

    Can I charge my Luxe 80S overnight?

    Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. It is also important to use an appropriate charger, such as the Veho Plug Adaptor. For more information see our battery safety infographic.

    What does SSS technology mean?

    SSS stands for: Seal comprehensively, saturate properly, store safely and is a leakproof technology used to prevent e-liquid escaping from the pod to prevent wastage or mess.

    Can you wash a GTX POD 26?

    Yes. Remove the pod from the device, and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the pod out with warm (not boiling) water. Ensure that the pod is fully dry before using it again.
    You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.

    What is the difference between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and Direct-Lung (DL) vaping?

    In Mouth-to-Lung vaping you inhale vapour and hold it in your mouth for a moment before inhaling again for the vapour to reach your lungs. In Direct-Lung vaping you inhale in one continuous breath into your lungs. See MTL v DL for more information.

    How long does the coil last?

    Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.

    You can extend coil life by:

    • Priming the coil before usage
    • Using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
    • Not going above the recommended wattage
    • Topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out

    With care, the included GTX coils should last several days before needing to be replaced.

    Charging Equipment

    Your charger comes with a 12 month warranty.

    Batteries

    All mods and batteries are under warranty for three months. 

    Clearomisers/Tanks

    All clearomisers (tanks) with the exception of CE5 clearomisers are under warranty for six months. CE5 clearomisers (tanks) are under warranty for one month.

    Please note - these warranties do not apply to the coil within a clearomiser or tank which is a consumable product as below.

    Coils

    Coils are a consumable product, and as such, will be replaced only if faulty on arrival. Please let us know within 5 days of receipt if your new coil does not work.

    What does your warranty mean?

    We guarantee that your device is, and will remain, free from defects for the period of the warranty. Please note - this applies to faulty products, and not accidental damage (e.g. dropping on a hard floor!)

    You’ll need to return the item (we can cover a free delivery charge). If we are unable to diagnose and solve your issue, we’ll send you a replacement by Royal Mail First Class. It helps if you have your order number, but if not our team should be able to find your order using your email address.

    Why Battery Quality Matters

    Many customers report experiencing problems with vape devices when using low quality 18650 batteries. These include low power warnings. Please ensure you use reliable 18650 batteries, such as Molicel batteries, or purchase from a reputable supplier.

    E-Cigarette Direct cannot guarantee optimum performance when devices are used with batteries purchased elsewhere.

    Using Your Tank: Best Practice

    Follow these simple steps to get the most out of your tank.

    • When filling, always avoid getting e-liquid in the centre tube.
    • Don’t hold down the button before inhaling.
    • When attaching the coil, screw it in firmly but don’t over-tighten.
    • Make sure you use the right power settings. If unsure, check the manual or start with a low power setting and work your way up till you get the right hit.

    The Right and Wrong Ways to Treat Batteries!

    Battery Safety Information

    Do:

    • Ensure you use the correct charging equipment for your e-cig (see below).
    • Charge batteries on a hard surface.
    • Turn your battery off when not in use.

    Don’t:

    • Use damaged batteries.
    • Leave charging batteries unattended.
    • Allow contact between your batteries and water.
    • Carry in a pocket with coins or keys. (The Kbag is a great way to carry batteries securely and safely).
    • Expose your battery to sunlight, extreme heat or cold.

    Recommended Charging Equipment

    We recommend the Veho Plug Adaptor and the Nitecore Intelli charger (for external batteries). Both are high quality devices from a reputable manufacturer, have performed well in testing and have the right voltage output for e-cigs.

    Extending Your E-Cig Battery Life

    With regular usage, your e-cig battery will usually last for 3 months, although they can last longer. The following steps can help extend the life of your battery

    1. Cleaning your battery terminal. The most effective way to do this is to use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol, but you can also clean it with a tissue or a cotton swab.
    2. Keeping your battery charged. Keeping some charge in your battery can extend your battery life, especially if you go for some time without using it.

    How To Maximise the Life Of Your Coils

    Always allow your e-liquid to soak into your coil for at least five minutes before using it. This will help prevent your coil from burning out.

    When you have a more powerful coil, or one with more wicking material, it’s also a good idea to prime it by applying a few drops of e-liquid into the coil holes before filling.

    Once you’re using the device, it is important to keep your tank topped up. If the e-liquid gets too low and the coil is exposed, the coil can burn out.

Why do I have to prove my age?

To our website you look under 18.

So, as a responsible retailer, we need to check your age.

You'll only need to do this once and it takes less than a minute.

Our age verification system is quick and easy to complete. Simply enter your date of birth, and our system will use the information from your order to do the rest.

On rare occasions, you might find that you don’t succeed on first try. Don’t worry - our super-friendly customer service team is on hand to ensure that, as long as you are 18 or over, you can still get your vaping supplies!

Once you have confirmed your age we won’t usually need to check again. (Exceptions can occur, for example if you change your name).

(You can help us check your age by ensuring your name and address are spelt absolutely correctly in the order form :) )

How your data is used

We use as little data as possible. The only data that ECigaretteDirect keep is information needed to send your order, and your date of birth (so we only have to check once!)

Your age is checked using Experian, which will check the information you provide against information in existing records to confirm you are over 18. No credit check is performed but a record of the search will be visible to you on your credit report. This will not affect your ability to get credit.

Why do we check age?

As you may know, there has been some concern that under-18’s may try vaping.

This is against both our company policy and the law.

And as responsible retailers, we need to do everything we can to ensure that every customer is of legal age.
