Vampire Vape. One of the UK’s top e-liquid brands, it’s a name that needs no introduction to long-time vapers.
Since its inception more than ten years ago, the Vampire Vape brand has been making waves (and clouds!) in the UK - and much of its fame is down to the best-known and award-winning e-liquid Heisenberg.
However, with a lineup of 50 core flavours spread out over 20 different ranges, zeroing in on the very best flavours can be overwhelming.
So we rolled up our sleeves, reassembled our hardened vape testing team, and got vaping!
And after hours of careful assessment, here are our favourites…

All tested by Alice using either a Vaporesso Xros 3 with 0.8Ω mesh pods or an Aspire TSX with 1ohm pod.
Heisenberg is probably THE best-known vape juice in the UK. In fact, if a vape juice can be called a classic, this is it!
Intriguingly, it can be hard to find flavour notes - as Vampire Vape are rather coy about the ingredients that actually go into this blend. (That’s not surprising, as there have been many attempts to copy the flavour - although none have quite hit the mark.)
I personally found this to be a strong flavour, with a bold intensity that really stood out compared to similar juices in other ranges.
On the inhale, I got a bouquet of pleasant sweet berry notes which transitions to notes of bubblegum infused with aniseed on the exhale.
Do note that while the flavour is strong throughout the vape, it doesn’t leave an aftertaste in your mouth. While sometimes a lingering flavour can be pleasant, with a strong flavour like this I think the lack of the aftertaste is a positive.
The Vampire Vape team had obviously been watching a lot of Breaking Bad when they came up with these names!
Pinkman may not be as well known as Heisenberg, but it still plays a great supporting role in the Vampire Vape Range.
On the inhale I get a sweet, citrus taste, which intensifies on the exhale - becoming closer to a boiled sweet flavour.
I do really like the fact that this one doesn’t contain menthol, as so many flavours do have a menthol undertone nowadays.
Ice Menthol delivers an enjoyable and refreshing experience, but it's important to manage expectations around the intensity of the flavour.
The name “Ice Menthol” conjures up the sensation of an icy mint blast, but I found this to be a gentler, sweeter flavour than the name suggests.
Not everyone is after a chilly menthol blast, though, and if you like a gentler touch, this might be the one for you!
The vape starts with a sweet menthol taste, which intensifies on the exhale to bring you a flavour reminiscent of a cough sweet.
Although it might not live up to the chilly expectations suggested by its name, it still manages to carve itself out a pleasant niche in the Vampire Vape range.
The vape world is awash with complex flavours, but sometimes you just want a simple, straightforward vape!
If that’s you, you’ll find Blueberry delivers precisely that.
I found the berry flavour to be pleasantly sweet (but not overpoweringly so) on the inhale. On the exhale, the flavour profile shifts, becoming crisper and sharper with less sweetness.
All in all, a simple straightforward flavour that does exactly what it says it does.
Do note all the Vampire Vape salts flavours we tried are the new style, double concentrate type - known in industry parlance as Bar Salts.
These new, stronger flavours are designed to replicate disposable vapes, making it easier for users of single-use devices to switch to reusable vapes. They work best for vapers who prefer a smooth throat hit, strong flavours and used lower-powered pod devices.

Right off the bat, this juice delivered a true-to-the-name Blue Raspberry flavour on the inhale - with the sweetness deftly balanced by sour undertones.
Despite the lack of mention of ‘ice’ or ‘menthol’ in its name, Blue Sour Raspberry went on to surprise me, delivering unexpected menthol notes on the exhale.
The minty ice in the vape may have surprised me - but the combination works a treat. All in all, I found this to be a very pleasant vape!

I’ve tried a lot of watermelon e-liquids over the years, as it’s one of my favourite flavour profiles, so when I was handing out juices to try I made sure that Watermelon was on my personal list.
And, quite simply, Vampire Vape Watermelon is the best I’ve tried yet!
This is a pure watermelon vape, unadulterated by other flavours, and comes with a huge amount of taste.
In fact, and despite not being overly sweet, the super fresh flavour of this juice actually made my mouth water!
While I originally only tried this for testing purposes, I’ll be adding this one to my regular vape juice rotation.

I have to admit that I am not usually a fan of menthol-based e-liquids, so I approached Cherry Raspberry Strawberry Ice with just a touch of trepidation.
The menthol itself was particularly noticeable on the inhale, with cherry coming to the fore on the exhale. There were also hints of raspberry and strawberry - but these were very much side notes rather than the main show.
Fortunately, in contrast to other menthol-based blends I have tried, this was not overpowering and I found it very enjoyable.
This may be because the menthol is focused on the inhale, it doesn’t leave the tickly taste in your throat that some other menthol juices do - and it doesn’t overpower the other notes in the flavour.

Another strong flavour (as you’d expect with these double concentrate salts), Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava delivers a predominantly kiwi flavour on the inhale. The kiwi is underlaid with subtle passion fruit notes on the inhale which become more prominent on the exhale.
What really surprised me was that, despite the absence of menthol or koolada, this was a really refreshing flavour.
I think this juice has broad appeal. For starters, it will suit vapers looking for a bold but fresh flavour without the use of mint or ice. However, even for users partial to some menthol in their mix, this tropical blend could prove to be a refreshing change.
Vampire Vape call their shortfill range Koncept.
If you’re not familiar with shortfills, these are larger bottles of nicotine-free e-liquid which have space to add a nicotine shot. They come with higher quantities of vegetable glycerine (VG), making them suitable for use with larger, more powerful mod and tank devices.
Tested by Maya using a Luxe X device with 0.4ohm mesh pods
As you’d expect from its dramatic name, Blood Sukka comes with a strong flavour packed with flavourful berries and a bite of aniseed, complemented with a punch of cherries and blackberries. It’s all finished off with a distinct menthol tone on the exhale.
The result is a deep, rich taste. In fact, it was a little bit too strong for my liking (maybe I’m just not the bloodsucking type!), but I do think this would be the perfect blend for fans of liquorice/aniseed flavours.

Like several of the flavours in this list, All Day Grape brings you a pure, unembellished grape flavour that's free from any menthol, ice, or additional notes.
Other than “tastes like grape” there’s really not much more to say about this flavour, (tastes like grape on the inhale, tastes like grape on the exhale???) other than it makes a great All-Day-Vape!
Established in 2012, Vampire Vape brings over ten years of experience to the process of mixing vape flavours.
Over that time they have won numerous awards for their vape juices - which are manufactured exclusively in the UK.
Our selection process combines popularity factors, customer feedback and testing by our experienced team.
Each juice was assigned to a team member for in-depth testing and feedback. Each team member tested it using one of their favourite devices, so they could provide feedback that reflects their everyday vaping experience. We eliminated several flavours in the process, as they weren’t to our testers’ preference. The feedback is then collated to provide the expert reviews above.
Do note that tasting is subjective and may also vary depending on the device, coil, tank and wattage used, so you may perceive subtle differences from our testers.
After ten years in the business, Vampire Vape has shown they still have the capacity to roll out delicious new juices.
Expect more from this brand as they adjust to new trends and flavour choices - we’ll be testing as they do so, and keeping this post up-to-date with the best new flavours!
