Do note that we recommend buying Smok tanks as part of a kit. This is usually more economical, and the tank is often well-matched with the device. However, it can be worth buying a tank separately when:

  • you need a replacement tank
  • you are an advanced user, and wish to match a tank and mod that are not available as part of a kit

Matching your Smok tank and mod

  1. Check the connection on the tank matches that of the mod. Most tanks and mods come with a 510 connection, which means they are interchangeable, but a handful come with an 810 connection.
  2. Ensure the mod’s power is compatible with the tank: tanks that come with low-resistance coils and large portholes require more powerful devices.
