The Obelisk 120 FC mod can output up to 120 watts of variable power through its powerful built-in 3700mAh battery capacity. The large battery capacity means the device on a full charge should last at least a day of use.
In a world first, the innovative, safe fast-charging design means you never have to go without your vape for long, as the device can be charged from 0-100% battery in just 15 minutes when using the included cable and a fast-charging wall plug (not included). As well as being incredibly fast, the Obelisk 120 FC’s charging design is also extra safe, with a maximum charging temperature of just 48.5°C.
The Obelisk 120 FC’s USB PD (power delivery) technology means it has OTG Reverse Charge capabilities and can be used as a power bank to charge other devices such as mobile phones and tablets. (See more about USB PD in the FAQs below)
The included Geekvape Zeus tank is designed for sub-ohm vaping - producing large vapour clouds, intense flavour and a strong nicotine hit when used with high VG e-liquid and at high wattages. (See more about sub-ohm vaping in FAQs).
The Obelisk 120 FC features a handy embedded 0.96” colour screen that displays all of the information you need to monitor and customise your vaping experience - including wattage, puff count and resistance.
Compatible Coils & E-liquids
When paired with the included Geekvape Zeus tank, the Obelisk 120 FC is recommended for use with high VG e-liquids (VG:PG 70:30 and above).
The Zeus tank works with the Geekvape Zeus coil range.
- 0.4 Ω Z1: 60 - 70W
- 0.2 Ω Z2: 70 - 80W
Who is the Geekvape Obelisk kit for?
The Obelisk 120 FC is a great option for intermediate to advanced vapers who prioritise vapour production and flavour when vaping.
What e-liquid can you use in the Geekvape Obelisk 120 FC?
When used with the included 0.4Ω Z1 and 0.2Ω Z2 coils, the Geekvape Obelisk is best used with high VG e-liquids with a VG:PG ratio of around 70:30 or 80:20.
How long does the Geekvape Obelisk 120 FC take to charge?
Thanks to its innovative fast-charging design, the Obelisk device should reach a full charge in 15 minutes.
What is sub-ohm vaping?
Sub-ohm vaping refers to vaping with a coil with an ohm (Ω) rating below 1.0. When pairing low resistance coils with high powered devices and high VG e-liquids, this method of vaping will produce thicker, denser vapour clouds, more intense flavour and stronger nicotine hit.
Do note that while sub-ohm originally referred to vaping with any coil less than 1Ω, vape technology has advanced and some modern MTL coils often have a resistance of less than 1 Ω.
See The Beginners Guide to Sub-Ohm Vaping for more information.
What is bypass power?
Bypass power delivers the full power of the battery to the coil without being moderated by the chipset. This means power output will be higher when the battery is fully charged and lower as the battery level drops. See Advanced Vaping Modes for more information.
What does temperature control mean?
In VW mode, the resistance of the coil can change as the coil heats up. In temperature control vaping, you set the resistance of your coil. The mod uses the resistance of the coil to detect any change in temperature. The mod will adjust or maintain power to keep consistency in resistance, and therefore temperature. This leads to a more consistent flavour profile and can also extend the life of the coil you are using.
What does USB PD mean?
PD stands for power delivery and is a specification that enables two devices to communicate with one another. When using a vape device to charge other devices, the devices ‘talk to each other’ to find out how much power can be safely transferred. In addition to making the charge safer, it can also speed up the charging process.
How long do Zeus coils last?
Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils such as the 0.2Ω Zeus coil, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.
You can extend coil life by:
- Priming the coil before usage
- Using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
- Not going above the recommended wattage
- Topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out
With care, the included Zeus coils should last from a few days to a week.

Using Your Tank: Best Practice
Follow these simple steps to get the most out of your tank.
- When filling, always avoid getting e-liquid in the centre tube.
- Don’t hold down the button before inhaling.
- When attaching the coil, screw it in firmly but don’t over-tighten.
- Make sure you use the right power settings. If unsure, check the manual or start with a low power setting and work your way up till you get the right hit.
The Right and Wrong Ways to Treat Batteries!
Battery Safety Information
- Ensure you use the correct charging equipment for your e-cig (see below).
- Charge batteries on a hard surface.
- Turn your battery off when not in use.
- Use damaged batteries.
- Leave charging batteries unattended.
- Allow contact between your batteries and water.
- Carry in a pocket with coins or keys. (The Kbag is a great way to carry batteries securely and safely).
- Expose your battery to sunlight, extreme heat or cold.
For more information see our E-Cig Battery Safety Infographic.
Recommended Charging Equipment
We recommend the Veho Plug Adaptor and the Nitecore Intelli charger (for external batteries). Both are high quality devices from a reputable manufacturer, have performed well in testing and have the right voltage output for e-cigs.
Extending Your E-Cig Battery Life
With regular usage, your e-cig battery will usually last for 3 months, although they can last longer. The following steps can help extend the life of your battery
1. Cleaning your battery terminal. The most effective way to do this is to use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol, but you can also clean it with a tissue or a cotton swab.
2. Keeping your battery charged. Keeping some charge in your battery can extend your battery life, especially if you go for some time without using it.
How To Maximise the Life Of Your Coils
Always allow your e-liquid to soak into your coil for at least five minutes before using it. This will help prevent your coil from burning out.
When you have a more powerful coil, or one with more wicking material, it’s also a good idea to prime it by applying a few drops of e-liquid into the coil holes before filling.
Once you’re using the device, it is important to keep your tank topped up. If the e-liquid gets too low and the coil is exposed, the coil can burn out.
