Innokin Kroma 217 product overview
The Innokin Kroma 217 utilises Innokin's innovative Coil+ and Refresh modes to provide improved flavour and long-lasting coils. Coil+ mode automatically primes your coil after each use, while Refresh mode can be manually activated to prime the coil and refresh flavour whenever you choose.
Able to use 18650, 20700 or 21700 batteries (not included), the Kroma 217 mod can output up to 100W* of adjustable power. Choose the 18650 for the lightest battery or the 21700 for maximum battery life. The external battery design also means you can vape without interruption with a simple swap of the battery. (*100W of power with 21700 battery - when using 18650 battery max power is 80W.)
The Kroma 217 kit includes the Z Force vape tank, able to create large, dense clouds and a flavourful Direct-Lung (DL) vape thanks to the compatible low-resistance ZF coils. (See more about DL vaping in the FAQs below.)
ZF coils feature a unique DuoPrime mesh design - with 2 layers of mesh heating at different rates to provide enhanced flavour and vapour production. The tank's adjustable airflow ring means you can precisely tailor your vape between airy or more restricted.
Filling the Z Force tank is made easy and mess free thanks to the convenient top filling design - with a built in membrane that prevents leaks.
As well as the included tank and coil, the Kroma 217 mod's threaded 510 connection allows it to be paired with most other vape tanks.

The included Z Force tank works with the ZF coil range and is recommended with high VG e-liquids with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 and above.

FAQs
What e-liquid can I use with the Innokin Kroma 217 kit?
When used with the included coils, the Z Force is best used with high VG e-liquids, with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 and above.
What are Coil+ and Refresh mode?
Coil+ and Refresh are modes that both manually and automatically prime your vape coil for improved flavour & longer-lasting coil life.
Both modes send a pulse to the coil at 40% of the wattage currently being used for 0.4 seconds. This draws more liquid into the coil to keep it saturated and reduce carbon build up.
When activated, Coil+ mode will automatically do this after each use, while Refresh mode is manually activated so that you can prime the coil as often as you like.
What is the difference between 21700 and 18650 batteries?
21700 batteries are larger than 18650 batteries, with a size of 21 x 70mm, as opposed to 18 x 65mm. They also have a larger battery capacity, which means they can go for longer between charges. The exact battery capacity depends on the brand and battery used.
Can I charge my Innokin Kroma 217 overnight?
Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. It is also important to use an appropriate charger, such as the Veho Plug Adaptor. For more information see our battery safety infographic.
Can I wash an Innokin Z Force tank?
Yes. Remove the tank from the device, remove the coil and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the tank out with warm (not boiling) water and ensure that it is fully dry before using it again. You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.
How long do the coils last?
Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.
You can extend coil life by:
- Priming the coil before usage
- Using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
- Not going above the recommended wattage
- Topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out
With care, the included ZF coils should last several days before needing to be replaced.
What is Direct-Lung (DL) vaping?

Product Care
Follow these simple steps to get the most out of your vape kit.
- For refillable devices, allow e-liquid to soak into the coil for at least five minutes before using the device.
- Always keep some e‑liquid in the pod or tank to ensure the coil is saturated.
- If using replaceable coils, push/screw them in firmly but don't over tighten.
- For adjustable power devices, use recommended power settings for the coil or pod you are using (see box, coil or manual).
- When device is switched on, only press fire button when inhaling. This prevents condensation build up in the pod or tank.
- If using a refillable kit, use the correct e-liquid for the coil or pod you are using. See the product description for each kit for recommended e-liquid types
- Avoid filling refillable pods or tanks above the fill line or to the very top.
Battery advice
Do:
- Use the correct charging equipment for your device (see below). Use of third-party chargers may void your warranty.
- Charge batteries on a flat, hard surface.
- Turn your device off when not in use (if device comes with an on/off switch).
- Keep battery terminals clean. A quick swab with a cotton bud can improve performance and reliability.
- Always keep some charge in your battery.
Don’t:
- Use damaged batteries.
- Leave charging batteries unattended.
- Allow contact between your batteries and water.
- Carry batteries in a pocket/bag with coins or keys.
- Expose batteries to sunlight, extreme heat or cold.
- Allow batteries to go to zero charge.

Do you send to BFPO addresses?
Yes, we deliver to all BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses which are treated as UK Mainland, but those in non-EU BFPO locations may occur local duty taxes, payable by the customer at cost upon collection.
What about late delivery?
If you have not received your order within 7 working days (excluding bank holidays and weekends) please get in contact with us.
What if I put the wrong address on my parcel?
We can't guarantee that you will receive your parcel if you have used the wrong address or postcode. If you realise you have used the wrong address, please get in contact with us ASAP, and we will correct the address if the order has not already been dispatched.
Returns Policy: Q & A’s
What happens if I change my mind after I make a purchase?
No problem. As long as you haven’t used the device, you can cancel your order and (if you have already received the order) return the product to us for a refund.
How long have I got to change my mind?
You have 90 days (or until you use the product) to change your mind. This policy only covers unused products (for example, if you buy someone a present and then they decide they want something else.)
Please note the product must be in its original packaging, with any seals intact, and you must notify us within 90 days of your receipt of the order that you wish to cancel the order. The products must then be returned within a further 14 days. You can cancel by sending us an email or giving us a call on 01792 852843.

What happens if I have a problem with a purchase?
It’s rare but it does happen.
The first thing to do is contact us, or pop into one of our shops if there is one near to you. Sometimes we can sort things out with a little advice!
If that doesn’t work, and your product is still within warranty, we’ll ask you to return it to us. Usually we can see the problem, but if we can’t we’ll replace it.
