Smok TFV18 Mini coils are low-resistance mesh coils for Direct-Lung vaping.
Smok TFV18 Mini coils come in a pack of 3 and are low resistance for sub-ohm vaping. (See more about sub-ohm vaping in the FAQs below.)
Ideal for use with high powered devices and high VG e-liquids, these coils utilise a fast-heating mesh and copper bottom design as well as large wicking holes for a cloud-filled, flavourful Direct-Lung vape.
Smok TFV18 Mini coils work with the following:
How long does the coil last?
Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.
You can extend coil life by:
With care, TFV18 Mini coils should last several days before needing to be replaced.
What is the difference between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and Direct-Lung (DL) vaping?
In Mouth-to-Lung vaping you inhale vapour and hold it in your mouth for a moment before inhaling again for the vapour to reach your lungs. In Direct-Lung vaping you inhale in one continuous breath into your lungs. See MTL v DL for more information.
What is sub-ohm vaping?
Sub-ohm vaping refers to vaping with a coil with an ohm (ohm) rating below 1.0. When pairing low resistance coils with high powered devices and high VG e-liquids, this method of vaping will produce thicker, denser vapour clouds, more intense flavour and a stronger nicotine hit.
Do note that while sub-ohm originally referred to vaping with any coil less than 1ohm, vape technology has advanced and some modern MTL coils often have a resistance of less than 1ohm.
See The Beginners Guide to Sub-Ohm Vaping for more information.
