The Smok Solus 2 is the newest version of the original Solus - a compact, fixed-coil pod device full of easy-to-use, beginner-friendly features. Now with upgraded USB-C charging.
Works with Solus & Solus 2 pods.
The Smok Solus 2 is a compact pod device with easy operation and features that make it a great starter kit for new vapers.
With fixed-coil pods and inhale firing, there is very little set up needed with the Solus 2. To start vaping you simply fill the Solus pod, attach it to the device and inhale on the mouthpiece.
The Solus 2 works with Solus pods - featuring a fixed 0.9ohm mesh coil. This fixed-coil design adds extra convenience as there is no need for manual coil changes. When the coil inside the pod reaches the end of its life, you just replace the whole pod.
The device's airflow can be tailored between a Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and restricted Direct-Lung (RDL) inhale style by simply rotating the pod 180°. (See more about vaping styles in the FAQs below.)
With a max power output of 15W, the buttonless design of the Solus 2 means there is no need for manual power setting, as the device will set the power output based on the resistance of the pod being used. A 700mAh battery provides the device with long-lasting power. When the battery does run low, an upgraded USB-C charging design means the Solus 2 will quickly be charged and ready to use again.
The Smok Solus 2 uses fixed-coil Solus and Solus 2 pods and is recommended for use with VG:PG 50:50 e-liquids and nicotine salts.
The Solus 2 is suited to vapers of all experience levels looking for an easy-to-use pod device. Its features such as fixed-coil pods and inhale firing make it particularly suited as a starter kit for beginners.
What e-liquid can you use in the Smok Solus 2?
The Smok Solus 2 is best used with e-liquids or nicotine salts with a 50:50 VG:PG ratio.
Can I charge my Smok Solus 2 overnight?
Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. It is also important to use an appropriate charger, such as the Veho Plug Adaptor. For more information see our battery safety infographic.
How long do Smok Solus/Solus 2 pods last?
The key element to how long a pod lasts is the coil in the pod. This depends on a number of factors such as how frequently you inhale and how long you inhale.
However, you can maximise the life of the coil by allowing the e-liquid to soak in before using it for the first time, by using e-liquid with the correct VG:PG ratio and by keeping the pod topped up. With care, the pods should last several days to a week or more.
What is the difference between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL), Direct-Lung (DL) and restricted Direct-Lung (RDL) vaping?
In Mouth-to-Lung vaping you inhale vapour and hold it in your mouth for a moment before inhaling again for the vapour to reach your lungs. In Direct-Lung (DL) vaping you inhale in one continuous breath into your lungs.
With restricted Direct-Lung vaping, you inhale in the same way as DL, but you don't require as much airflow over the coil. The flavour experience is similar to DL, but the throat hit is more similar to MTL. See MTL v DL for more information.
