Smok TFV12 coils, also known as V12 coils, are low resistance coils that are suitable for an airy vape and thick, dense vapour production.
Smok TFV12 coils work with the TFV12 tank.
They are not compatible with the Baby tank, which works with TFV8 Baby coils.
Smok V12 X6 coils: Contains 2 coils and 12 air-holes. The X6 refers to the name of the coil, and not the pack quantity. 0.15 ohm resistance, best used at 80 - 100 W.
Smok TFV12 T10 coils: Large decuple coils with five atomisers and four air-holes. 0.12 ohm, best used at 80 - 100 W.
Smok TFV12 Q4 coils: Contains single atomiser and 12 air-holes. 0.4 ohm, best used at 60 - 80 W.
Smok TFV12 strip coils: Utilises a porous membrane for faster e-liquid absorption and improved heat dissipation. 0.15 ohm resistance, best used at 80 - 90 W.
What e-liquid should I use with TFV12 coils?
TFV12 coils are best used with high VG e-liquids, such as those with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 or 80:20. They are suitable for use with low nicotine e-liquids, such as e-liquids with a nicotine content of 0.6 mg or lower.
How long do the coils last?
Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for and the wattage you use your coil at. Low-resistance coils are used at higher wattages and do not last as long as high-resistance coils.
You can extend coil life by priming the coil before usage (see product care), by not going above the recommended wattage and by topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out. With care, Smok TFV12 coils can last anything from a couple of days to a few weeks.
