The Smok Scar 18 combines massive power with two 18650 batteries and low resistance 0.15 Ω mesh coils for a vape kit suitable for serious cloud chasers.

This is a compact device which fuses metal and leather for an attractive look and a comfortable, grip as well as for additional protection against accidental drops.

    The Smok Scar 18 is a powerful device with a huge wattage range of 1-230 watts. The Scar 18 comes with an IQ-X chip set providing 4 different modes which can be used to customise your vape to your preferences. Modes include temperature control which can be used to provide a consistent flavour experience and also helps ensure your coils last longer.

    The Smok Scar 18 is powered by two 18650 batteries which provide the battery capacity you need for a powerful device. External batteries also ensure that you can keep your device on the go with a simple swap of the batteries. The batteries can be charged with an external power charger such as the Intellicharger I4 or by using the inbuilt USB port.

    Rated IP67 waterproof, Scar 18 can withstand immersion in water of 15-30 cm for up to 30 minutes. It’s also dustproof and shock-proof to protect against hard usage and accidental drops.

    The included TFV9 EU tank comes with a childproof lock and is also designed to prevent accidental opening of the tank cap, preventing e-liquid spillage when being carried around. A gold plated pin increases rub resistance and improves electrical conductivity. The low resistance mesh coils in the TFV9 tank combined with a central airflow slot make it a perfect fit for the power of the Scar 18 mod. A large e-liquid top-fill slot makes it easy to fill the tank.

    Who is it for?

    The Scar 18 Kit is suitable for experienced vapers who are used to high wattage vaping and can get the most out of the advanced modes available. It is not suitable for new vapers.

    Compatibility

    The included TFV9 tank works with the Smok V9 coil and Smok V8 Baby coils. The tank is compatible with most 510 mods, but we recommend a mod with high wattage capability to enjoy the tank to its full capability.

    The Smok Scar 18 mod will work with tanks that have a 510 fitting, but will need a tank with a wide air-flow and low resistance coils to use at higher wattages.

    FAQs

    What is temperature control mode?

    In VW mode, the resistance of the coil can change as the coil heats up. In temperature control mode, you set the resistance of your coil. The mod then uses the temperature of the coil to detect any change in resistance, and adjusts the power throughput in order to maintain the resistance and the coil. This leads to a more consistent flavour profile and can also extend the life of the coil you are using.

    Can this mod be used with Mouth-to-Lung tanks?

    The wide wattage range means this tank could potentially be used as a MTL tank at the low end of its wattage range. However, to enjoy its full capabilities we recommend pairing with a DL tank which is compatible with low resistance coils.

    How long do the coils last?

    Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils are used at higher wattages and do not last as long as high resistance coils.

    You can extend coil life by priming the coil before usage (see product care), by not going above the recommended wattage and by topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out. With care, Smok V9 coils can last anything from a few days to a week.

    Charging Equipment

    Your charger comes with a 12 month warranty.

    Batteries

    All mods and batteries are under warranty for three months. 

    Clearomisers/Tanks

    All clearomisers (tanks) with the exception of CE5 clearomisers are under warranty for six months. CE5 clearomisers (tanks) are under warranty for one month.

    Please note - these warranties do not apply to the coil within a clearomiser or tank which is a consumable product as below.

    Coils

    Coils are a consumable product, and as such, will be replaced only if faulty on arrival. Please let us know within 5 days of receipt if your new coil does not work.

    What does your warranty mean?

    We guarantee that your device is, and will remain, free from defects for the period of the warranty. Please note - this applies to faulty products, and not accidental damage (e.g. dropping on a hard floor!)

    How do I get a replacement?

    In the unlikely event you have a problem with your device, just contact our friendly customer service team on [email protected]

    You’ll need to return the item (we can arrange pick up free of charge). If we are unable to diagnose and solve your issue, we’ll send you a replacement by Royal Mail First Class. It helps if you have your order number, but if not our team should be able to find your order using your email address.

Why do I have to prove my age?

To our website you look under 18.

So, as a responsible retailer, we need to check your age.

You'll only need to do this once and it takes less than a minute.

Our age verification system is quick and easy to complete. Simply enter your date of birth, and our system will use the information from your order to do the rest.

On rare occasions, you might find that you don’t succeed on first try. Don’t worry - our super-friendly customer service team is on hand to ensure that, as long as you are 18 or over, you can still get your vaping supplies!

Once you have confirmed your age we won’t usually need to check again. (Exceptions can occur, for example if you change your name).

(You can help us check your age by ensuring your name and address are spelt absolutely correctly in the order form :) )

How your data is used

We use as little data as possible. The only data that ECigaretteDirect keep is information needed to send your order, and your date of birth (so we only have to check once!)

Your age is checked using Experian, which will check the information you provide against information in existing records to confirm you are over 18. No credit check is performed but a record of the search will be visible to you on your credit report. This will not affect your ability to get credit.

Why do we check age?

As you may know, there has been some concern that under-18’s may try vaping.

This is against both our company policy and the law.

And as responsible retailers, we need to do everything we can to ensure that every customer is of legal age.

How Secure is e-Cigarette Direct?

Your privacy is important to us, and your personal information should remain just that - personal.

See the little green lock in the search bar? That’s our security certificate (SSL or secure socket layer to be precise). It encrypts all the information you enter so that no-one else can see it.

Information you provide for age verification is sent securely to Experian and no details of the checks are stored in our system. Ever.
