Each pod comes with a fixed Smok Novo X DCC coil, which have a dual coil design for improved flavour. The fixed coils make the pods ideal for vapers who prefer to avoid fiddly coil changes.

The fixed Smok Novo X DCC coils are best used at 12 - 25 W.
What e-liquid can you use in Novo X?
The Novo X is best used with e-liquids with a VG:PG ratio of around 50:50. They are also ideal for use with nicotine salts.
How long do the pods last?
The key element in the life of the pod is the coil.
Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils are used at higher wattages and do not last as long as high resistance coils.
You can extend coil life by priming the coil before usage (see product care), by using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios, by not going above the recommended wattage and by topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out. With care, Novo X pods should last anything from a few days to a couple of weeks.
Can you wash a Novo X pod?
Yes. Remove the pod from the device, and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the pod out with warm (not boiling) water. Ensure that the pod is fully dry before using again.
You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.
What is the difference between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and Direct-Lung (DL) vaping?
In Mouth-to-Lung vaping you inhale vapour and hold it in your mouth for a moment before inhaling again for the vapour to reach your lungs. In Direct-Lung vaping you inhale in one continuous breath into your lungs. See MTL v DL for more information.
