The Aspire Deco kit can be used with 21700 batteries for up to 100 watts of power or with 18650 batteries for up to 80 watts of power.

The Deco mod comes with multiple modes to give you more control over your vape. These include variable wattage, variable voltage, bypass mode and CPS (customisable power settings).

The included Aspire Odan Evo tank comes with bottom adjustable airflow which allows you to choose between an airy or more restricted vape. The tank is compatible with Odan mesh coils for consistent vapour, flavour and longer lasting coils.

Who is the Aspire Deco kit for?

The Aspire Deco kit is suitable for vapers who prefer thicker clouds of vapour and a Direct-Lung vape. It is best used by vapers with some experience of high wattage vaping.

FAQs

What is bypass mode?

Bypass mode delivers the full power of the battery to the coil without being moderated by the chipset. This means power output will be higher when the battery is fully charged and lower as the battery level drops.

What is Custom Power Settings (CPS) mode?

Custom Power Settings allow you to set the wattage and power curve of the device you are using. For example, you might choose to start a vape at 50 watts and then drop it to 40 watts. Once set, you can then save the setting so you can go back to it. See Custom Power Curves in Advanced Vaping Modes for more information.

What e-liquid should I use with this device?

The low resistance coils in this device are best used with high VG e-liquids. The 0.3 Ω coil is ideal for e-liquids with a VG:PG ratio in the region of 60:40 - 70:30 while the 0.18 Ω coils is suitable for use with e-liquids with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 - 80:20.

How long do Odan Evo coils last?

Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils such as Odan coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.

You can extend coil life by priming the coil before usage (see product care), by using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios, by not going above the recommended wattage and by topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out. With care, Odan coils should last anything from a couple of days to a week.

Can I charge my Aspire Deco overnight?

Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. For more information see our battery safety infographic.

What is the difference between Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) and Direct-Lung (DL) vaping?

In Mouth-to-Lung vaping you inhale vapour and hold it in your mouth for a moment before inhaling again for the vapour to reach your lungs. In Direct-Lung vaping you inhale in one continuous breath into your lungs. See MTL v DL for more information.

Sub Ohm Vaping: Extending the life of your coil

When you vape a coil with a resistance level lower than 1 ohm, you are sub ohm vaping.

Sub ohm vaping is great for producing large clouds of vapour, but there are some differences in usage. Understanding these can help maximise your vaping experience.

Sub ohm coils have a larger surface area than regular coils. So before using a coil, it’s even more important to prime the coil before usage. With most devices, this means adding a couple of drops of e-liquid to the holes in the side of the coil (the ports) and down the hole in the top of the coil. Once you’ve done this, and after adding e-liquid to your tank, you should allow the coil to soak for at least five to ten minutes.

When you’re using the device, always ensure that e-liquid is covering the coil. (You should do this anyway, but it’s doubly important with a sub ohm coil.)

Why? Well, when power hits the coil, you don’t want it to be dry. Following these simple steps helps the coil last much longer, and will ensure a pleasant vaping experience.

Sub ohm coils also need more power than regular coils, so ensure that your vape battery or mod is suitable for the coil you are buying.
